I put it together in 10 minutes, and left the rollers/feet off and just bought some of those felt pad shallow cups with carpet on the bottom that you put under sofa legs instead of the rollers. It's being used on a hard wood floor at a kitchen bar for a computer stool. Tacked the cups onto it with a dot of white glue so they don't come off...They glide so quietly and don't mar the new hardwood floors (mom's happy).

Like it a lot, and it's definitely superior to the butt piercing pain caused by one of those flat topped wooden stools when working for extended periods.
